"Unveil Your Life-Protection fair" , was created by Rebekah Burton, to promote the awareness of domestic violence. Years ago, when Rebekah herself became a victim and her neck was broke by her ex-husband, she wanted to come up with a way to spread the word regaurding domestic violence. She is a victims advocate for Clackamas County and The Raphael House of Portland. The 'Protection Fair' went strong by itself , until a 'marriage of fairs' took place with the "Pioneer Family Festival". Now, she and her business partner, Rocky Smith Jr. , continue to throw this HUGE event with carnival and parade every year.

1 out of 3 people are a victim of violence. Rebekah's hope is to help everyone with free self defence and encouragement from many different offices and organizations. Her 1st years event, she gave out "Unveiled Life"  hero awards to the 3 Clack. Co. Deputy Sheriff officers that saved her life as they broke down her door. Since then, every year, Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts (whom became greatly involved w/ this event and a great friend of Rebekah's) and she will hand out the annual "Unveiled Life" hero awards to officers that have gone over and beyond the 'call of duty' in helping someone in a domestic violence situation.
