Equestrian Information In order to accommodate horse trailers, preparation time and rider safety, there are several guidlines. - You will be able to drive into the parking lot near Clackamette Park. (Ramp between OC Shoping Center and Clackamette Dr.) Please make sure that you arrive early, so you have time to organize your group and prepare your entry for the parade. Entries need to be ready to head for staging are by 9:00 a.m.
- Vehicle escorts will act as pilot cars for equestrian entries, guiding them to the regular staging area for horses (Near section A). The escorts will leave parkin area at 9:00 AM.
- Each entry, whether individual or group, must provide a “pooper scooper” at both staging areas, as well as along the entire parade route. This helps us keep our costs down with City Maintenance Fees.
- Near the end of the parade volunteers will divert you back into your initial staging area, so you may re-trailer your horses.
- As per the application, we request that a copy of your liability insurance is provided at the time of registration at least one week prior to the parade.
