What is the Teddy Bear Parade?
The Teddy Bear Parade is an Oregon City Community Event.. It’s a one-hour processional over a 1½ Mile route. The Teddy Bear Parade has been a community highlight for Oregon City and the entire county for the past 11 years. The parade gathers stuffed animals and toys that will be given to the Emergency Services (Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, Emergency Rooms, Children’s Hospitals and Women’s Shelters), in Clackamas County. These are presented to Emergency personnel at the end of the parade. The Teddy Bear Parade raises awareness of Domestic Violence and is dedicated to highlighting the needs of children in crisis and honoring our county's emergency personnel who protect the entire community.
