Pioneer Family Festival
History Area
If History is your thing- you will love the Pioneer Family Festival History Area. The Pioneer Family Festival will be celebrating National Heritage Preservation Month and have invited Living History Interpretors, Historians, Heritage Organizations and Museums to share the History of Oregon with the public.
Here you will find Living History Interpretors displaying historical artifacts and reproductions. These interpretors will educate visitors on the history of Oregon, Clackamas County, The Oregon Trail, Oregon City and the Civil War.
We are inviting living History Interpreters, Historians, Heritage Organizations and Museums to share the history of Oregon with the public and invite visitors of the Pioneer Family Festival to see the rest of Clackamas County. Groups and/or individuals will be allowed to sell items without paying a booth fee, as long as they are reenacting or are displaying historical artifacts or reproductions that educate the public of the History of Oregon, Clackamas County, Oregon Trail, Oregon City or the Civil War. The time period for the Living History Area will be broad covering 1840-1860. There will be space for historians in several area including Pioneer, Native American, Mt. Men and Civil War.
